IHS Markit wins Most Innovative Regulatory Solution at Inside Market Data awards
IHS Markit Global Regulatory Reporting Solutions has been awarded Most Innovative Regulatory Solution at the Inside Market Data and Inside Reference Data Awards today. This prestigious award recognises IHS Markit’s industry-leading regulatory reporting service alongside its best execution analysis and business intelligence solutions, all delivered via a single, cloud-based SaaS platform.
The award highlights achievements of the last year, in particular, IHS Markit’s leading SFTR platform which is responsible for a significant portion of SFTR flow in the market. As the most comprehensive SFTR solution available, it offers an automated solution for the reporting process, taking into account over 150 data fields, pairing and matching for unique transaction identifiers (UTIs), legal entity identifiers (LEIs) and SFTR agreement for each trade.
Ronen Kertis, Head of IHS Markit Global Regulatory Reporting Solutions comments, “The last year has been extremely busy. The SFTR product was an essential development, with additional challenges as a result of the global health crisis. Our successful roll out facilitated this change for both existing and new customers and we have been very happy with the positive response.
“In addition, the large number of new customers who migrated to our platform following the CME’s departure from the regulatory reporting space, reflects the demand for a reporting solution that ensures complete, accurate and timely reporting alongside a knowledgeable team to support the reporting process. Our products increase compliance efficiency and reduce errors for our reporting customers. We are extremely pleased that this is being recognised by the market and grateful to Waters Technology for this award. We look forward to continuing to drive innovation and change in the market.”
The IHS Markit Global Regulatory Reporting Solutions business was formed following the acquisition of Cappitech by IHS Markit in January of this year and offers financial services clients a full suite of regulatory reporting, best execution analysis and business intelligence products and services via a cloud-based, cross regulation SaaS platform.
