IHS Markit wins “Most Innovative Data Orchestration for Regulatory Reporting” from A-Team Innovation Awards
We were thrilled to be awarded “Most innovative data orchestration” in the A-Team Innovation Awards today for our work across the regulatory reporting landscape. The A-Team Innovation Awards recognise “innovative approaches and solutions… with a specific focus on data management, trading technology and RegTech suppliers” with winners selected via votes from individuals across the industry.
Following the announcement of the acquisition of Cappitech by IHS Markit in January of this year, the IHS Markit Global Regulatory Reporting business now offers financial services clients a full suite of regulatory reporting, best execution analysis and business intelligence products and services via a cloud-based, cross regulation SaaS platform. Our solution helps organise siloed and fragmented data into one place for regulatory reporting. In particular, IHS Markit has sophisticated systems to translate data from client source systems to their trade repositories and does so via a single user interface that allows clients to monitor their reporting via an intuitive dashboard.
Angela Wilbraham, CEO of the A-Team Group, who hosted the A-Team Innovation Awards 2021, commented “There are incredible innovations in the world of capital markets data and technology. Our A-Team Innovation Awards 2021 were created to celebrate and reward those companies at the forefront of innovation within our industry. We congratulate Cappitech by IHS Markit in winning the Most innovative data orchestration for regulatory reporting award in recognition of their excellence in driving forward progress in capital markets capabilities.”
Ronen Kertis, Head of IHS Markit Global Regulatory Reporting comments, “Our data management, visualisation and analytics are a key part of what differentiates us as a regulatory reporting vendor and we are pleased to have received this endorsement from the wider market and from A-Team. We have always focused on providing a comprehensive set of solutions that work across jurisdictions and for which additional business insights can be gained through the use of detailed data analytics and optimisation. We look forward to continuing to do so as we work on our current integration process and roll out new products and services.”
Accepting the award, Global Head of Business Development for IHS Markit Global Regulatory Reporting, Struan Lloyd, recorded a short video highlighting key differentiators.
